The event supported by the National Football Association took place at the home of Aston Villa FC, Villa Park. Among the Birmingham guests were Aston Villa’s Kortney Hause and Sheffield Wednesday Manager, Darren Moore.
The panel Q&A discussion featured Chief Operating Officer at Birmingham City FC, Lungi Macebo, Women’s Intervention Coach at Aston Villa Foundation, Renee Gottshalk and Former Aston villa Captain and Club Ambassador, Ian Taylor.
Following on from the panel, a number of special awards were presented to recognise some key people within the community and grassroots such as Darren Harris PLY, Dual Paralympian, Diane Sawyers, Committee Member of Continental Stars FC and Ian Robinson Interventions Co-ordinator at Aston Villa Foundation.
The evening was hosted by International Sports Anchor, Host and Birmingham native Samantha Johnson.
