Wednesday 25th May saw the first regional Football Black List Celebration event take place outside of London, with over 200 people in attendance from the West Midlands Black community, coming together to celebrate Black excellence in the football industry.
Black excellence in football will be celebrated today at the Football Black List celebration where a community champion will become the first recipient of the inaugural Cyrille Regis Award. The online event will take place at the National Football Museum in Mancheste
Premier League stars Marcus Rashford and Ivan Toney, join England Lioness, Nikita Parris, and Tottenham Hotspur manager, Nuno Espirito-Santo on the Football Black List – an initiative shining a light on the most influential Black people in British football.
